The Four "Rs"

Four tactics the far right has used to destroy democracy in America:

• Remove (Clinton)
• Recount (2000 presidential election)
• Redistrict (Texas gerrymander attempt)
• Recall (California gubenatorial recall)

Here's the score so far: they never succeeded in getting Clinton out of office, but they sure kept him too busy to carry out everything he promised to do for America (remember universal healthcare?); they succeeded very well in getting their boy in the White House on the backs of elderly Floridians.

If we let them get away with any more of this, we'll all be living in a banana republic before long. If you haven't been to moveon.org, it's probably time you paid them a visit.
