Is the world safer without Saddam? Without a doubt. But what kind of a "safe" world will we have when America is villified, terrorists go on a suicidal rampage against us and no one will come to our aid? (See Celluci posting below.) As to whether I doubt that Saddam has or was working on chemical weapons, I guess we'll all find that out pretty soon. So far, no one has uncovered any, and Saddam's loyal forces haven't used any. I'd say if they were going to release a chemical holocaust, this would be a very opportune time, wouldn't you? And what sort of apology do you think we'll get form the Bushies if there are no chemical weapons to be found? Probably not even an "oops!" Probably something along the lines of "..this wasn't about his weapons; this was about regime change.." or "..this was about freeing the Iraqi people.." Stand by for more. Hardly Older Sisty Loveler
