Hey, Californians...Look what I got in the mail!! Finally something to stop those pesky telemarketers ... although operational in October you can register now. It is only for personal home and cell numbers, not business. The California Dept of Justice is in the process of establishing a "Do not Call" list for telemarketers. People have to individually register to be on this list, which will become operational in October. The link below (you may have to cut and paste it) will take you to the State DoJ home page for information and pre-registration. They still have it backwards, but at least it's headed in the right direction! nocall.doj.state.ca.us
