Bro's at it again...

Why do you take things so literally, especially given the line of work you're in?

Actually, that's probably why.

Or am I supposed to say Allah in Synagogue? Please guide me here.

Actually you could. In fact, the only non-Jewish religious gathering place where a Jew is permitted to pray is a mosque. That's because of all the world's major religions, Islam is the only purely monotheistic one other than Judaism. Also, there are no images in a mosque.

The reason I brought this up in the first place is because of the generalization about Moslems. I know it's an old, worn-out expression, but some of my best friends are Moslems, one of whom you met at my birthday party. There are millions of Moslems all over the world who do not hate the west (or at least didn't before this latest American adventure) and who take the peaceful tenets of the Koran very seriously. Extremism can happen in any religion, our own included (after all, look at who is Prime Minister of Israel). But Islam is the most populous religion in the world and I'd hate to see them all painted with the same brush.

Um, well, just maybe it's that the Al Jazerra authors don't want English-only speaking people to visit their site? After all, if someone wanted to attack their website, why not the Arabic version as well rendering it totally useless for one and all?

If they hadn't want English-only speaking people to visit their site, they wouldn't have produced an English site!

You're right; why not take the whole thing down? My guess is that that would make such a huge stink that we'd never get away with it, whereas the entire Arabic-speaking world isn't going to notice that their English site is down.

Speaking of that ultimate war, Jewishness will never die. The real anger lies in that it's in all of us here in the West.

Huh? Would you like to re-phrase this? I don't understand.
